Our program, which will start education in the 2020-2021 academic year within the body of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Yeşilova İsmail Akın Vocational School, is a department that aims to train active and qualified chef candidates for the food and beverage sector with its expert staff. Our department, under the roof of Yeşilova İsmail Akın Vocational School, as the culinary program of the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services department, has adopted the mission of training chefs who can meet the demand in the tourism sector for food and beverage services, who can produce by synthesizing the necessary hand skills, imagination, and creativity, who have knowledge of cooking techniques and materials, who can bring innovation to kitchen techniques, who have a developed palate, who are proficient in Turkish and World cuisine, and who have academic knowledge and discipline.
