Our Vocational School conducted cooperation visits to hotels operating in Antalya with the aim of enabling students continuing their education in the Tourist Guidance, Tourism and Hotel Management, and Culinary Programs to do internships and providing employment for our graduates. Through these visits, the programs in our school were promoted, and information was shared about the activities carried out by our school.
As a result of the meetings, a mutual decision was made to allow our students to carry out their internship practices at the relevant hotels, to enhance the students' work experience, and to enable our students to continue as permanent staff at the hotels if they are satisfied. In the meetings held with sector representatives, it was determined that businesses have difficulty finding well-trained personnel, and there is a significant need for intermediate staff, especially in the Housekeeping department and Kitchen-Service area. Information was provided to hotel managers about the type of education given in our school for the needed areas and the practices carried out to enhance our students' professional experience. In this regard, taking into account the demands of the businesses, the officials of the businesses were invited to our university to be introduced to our students. Our visits were concluded with the hope of meeting again.
