At Yeşilova İsmail Akın Tourism Vocational School, within the scope of Tourism Week Events, the "profession of guiding" was discussed.

Our Vocational School hosted an important interview as part of the Tourism Week Events. In the event organized with the contributions of Burdur Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism and Antalya Chamber of Guides, the guiding profession was discussed in various aspects.
In the event, topics such as the development of the tourist guiding profession from past to present, professional legislation, and the organizational structure of the chambers were emphasized. Expert guests in the field shared their sectoral experiences and conducted an interactive interview with the students.
At the end of the program, while answering questions from the students, certificates of appreciation were presented to the speakers who contributed to the event. The interview was a beneficial and inspiring meeting for students who want to get to know the guiding profession closely.
The interview was attended by; Burdur Deputy Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Hüseyin Güçlü, experts from the Provincial Directorate, Antalya Chamber of Guides President Hülya Yıldırım Kaya, Board Member İsmail Şana, Yeşilova İsmail Akın Tourism Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mert Gürlek, academicians, and numerous students.
