BURDUR MEHMET AKİF ERSOY UNIVERSITY ASSOCIATE AND UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS STUDENTS' 2020-2021 ACADEMIC YEAR SPRING SEMESTER COURSE REGISTRATION / REGISTRATION RENEWAL PROCEDURES

In our university, the 2020-2021 Academic Year Spring Semester courses will start on the dates specified in the Academic calendar of our University (published on our website).

All registered students (except preparatory class) must complete their course registration / registration renewal procedures within the specified periods through the Student Information System (OBS), and the registration renewal periods will not be extended.

Students who do not complete their course registration within the period and in accordance with the procedure; cannot attend classes, cannot take the exams of these courses, cannot benefit from student rights for this semester, and the elapsed time is included in the education period.

During the course registration / registration renewal procedures, the contribution fee/tuition fee is learned from the “Fee Information” menu on the Student Information System (https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/oibs/ogrenci/login.aspx) and after the contribution fee/tuition fee is paid by specifying the student number to any branch of Vakıflar Bankası in Turkey or through internet banking, the course registration process is completed.

Payment through internet banking is made by selecting payments/other payments/education payments menu and choosing Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University with student numbers.

In the contribution fee/tuition fee payment process, EFT transactions should definitely not be made.

Students who need to complete course registration after paying the contribution fee/tuition fee;

Second education and distance education program students, (including preparatory class)

First education students who have completed the program duration, (including those within the maximum education period or those who have completed the maximum education period)

Students enrolled in a second higher education institution, (of the last enrolled program)

Undergraduate completion students,

Students accepted from abroad (foreign nationals),

cannot complete course registration without paying the contribution fee/tuition fee.


Students who need to complete course registration without paying the contribution fee/tuition fee;

All students studying within the program duration in first education can complete their course registration without paying the contribution fee.

Students who only have mandatory internship left to graduate can complete their course registration and internship work without paying the contribution fee/tuition fee.

The path to follow during registration renewal through the Student Automation System:

* For course registration, log in to the Student Information System. In the Course and Semester Transactions menu

press the “Course Registration” button. After selecting courses on the opened screen, use the “Check” button to verify the courses. Then the “Finalize” button appears. By pressing the “Finalize” button, the courses you finalized are sent to your academic advisor's page from the system. After the academic advisor's approval, your course registration is completed.

* The academic advisor and the student determine the courses added or removed together.

* The course registrations of students who make course selections are finalized after the control and approval of the academic advisor.

* Courses not approved by the academic advisor cannot be registered and are not considered registered.

IMPORTANT: Every transaction related to course selection and registration renewal is recorded based on date, time, and user. Therefore, all responsibility belongs to the student who makes the course registration and registration renewal and their academic advisor.

INFORMATION:

* The attendance status of our students with chronic illnesses registered in the e-nabız system will be decided by the relevant department boards/commissions.

* Necessary measures will be taken against the Covid-19 pandemic, and by providing the HES Code, our university students and other university students will be allowed to use the classrooms, library, and computer laboratories on our campuses in a controlled manner.

* For the 2020-2021 Academic Year Spring Semester, students who wish to freeze their registration will be allowed to apply for registration freezing through the student information system without providing any justification.

* During the ongoing Distance Education Process due to the pandemic, sensitivity will be shown towards making our university's disabled students' issues “as accessible as possible”.

ATTENTION: Students who will register for courses in the 2020-2021 Academic Year Spring Semester will only be able to complete their course registration after filling out the evaluation surveys for the courses they took in the 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester.
