HORIZONTAL TRANSFER APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Horizontal transfer applications within the framework of quotas July 20- August 17 2020 between the dates ASSOCIATE DEGREE Diploma Programs for horizontal transfer applications https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YatayGecisBasvuruFormu from the address ONLINE will be made and the requested documents will be uploaded to the system during the application.

THERE IS NO NEED TO APPLY IN PERSON OR BY MAIL.

v With General Weighted Grade Point Average Inter-Institutional (Domestic) Same Program,

v With General Weighted Grade Point Average from Overseas Higher Education institutions for T.C. national students Inter-Institutional (Abroad) Same Program,

v With General Weighted Grade Point Average Intra-Institutional Same Program,

v With Central Placement Score ( ADDITIONAL Article 1) Different Program

Application is made.

· With General Weighted Grade Point Average, Domestic, Abroad and Intra-Institutional horizontal transfer Applications

July 20 -August 17, 2020 are made between the dates.

· With Central Placement Score with (ADDITIONAL ARTICLE-1) Different Program horizontal transfer applications

August 01-15, 2020 are made between the dates.

Our university is authorized to take necessary legal actions against candidates who register by making false statements.

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

Ø The YGS, LYS or YKS Placement Results presented by the student during admission to the university (Showing all score types) ÖSYM Result Document, (for ADDITIONAL-1 applications)

Ø Student Status Document obtained from the higher education institution where the student is registered,

Ø An official document showing the names, credits, and success grades of all courses taken by the student up to the semester they wish to transfer, excluding the preparatory class, and the weighted grade point average according to the credits (grade chart/grade breakdown/transcript). (Documents in foreign languages must be translated into Turkish.)

Ø Preparatory class students or students who have frozen their registration must document their status,

Ø Students studying in a second education program and who are in the top ten percent at the end of the relevant academic semester; an official document showing they are in the top ten percent,

Ø Approved or included in the university's ECTS information package course contents (course curriculum), (Students who do not submit course contents will be adapted to the first year.)

Ø Disciplinary penalty document,

Ø From overseas higher education institutions applications, for programs where success ranking is not required, the central placement score in the valid score type for the diploma program they wish to transfer to must be equal to or higher than the lowest base score of equivalent diploma programs in other universities in the country,

Ø A document stating there is no obstacle to horizontal transfer. (To be brought at final registration.)
