2019-2020 Spring Semester Midterm (Visa) and Explanation About Applied Courses

1. In the 2019-2020 Academic Year for the Spring Semester, the “midterm exam (vize)” application to be implemented in all academic units providing associate, undergraduate, and graduate education will be carried out through the midterm exam assignment to be given by the instructor.
2. For practical courses;
a) The practical parts of theoretical+practical courses will be completed in the form of a course application project. This project will be evaluated as the midterm grade.
b) In application/laboratory courses that only include practice; a course application project will be conducted. This project will be evaluated as the midterm grade.
c) In academic units conducting practice in workplaces such as 3+1, 7+1, and 6+2, in the courses “Workplace Practice”, “On-the-Job Training” and “Professional Practice”, a Workplace Practice Report (the procedure and form of which is determined by our University Vocational Schools Coordination) will be prepared by the student. This report will be evaluated as the midterm grade.
3. Students will be considered exempt from and successful in mandatory or optional summer internships coinciding with the summer term of the 2019-2020 Academic Year.
4. Students will send the files referred to as “Midterm Exam Assignment”, “Teaching Practice File”, “Course Application Project”, “Workplace Practice Report” and “Graduation Assignment” through the assignment module of the Distance Education System or to the university email accounts of our instructors by the date specified in the academic calendar for their midterm grades to be evaluated. However, students who, for any reason, do not have internet access at all can also send their prepared assignments/files/reports to the academic unit address of the responsible course instructor via registered mail or cargo.
5. The method and schedule for the final and make-up exams will be announced at a later date.
