Yapılış Tarihi | 25 December 2019, Wednesday
On 20.12.2019, Friday, a technical trip was conducted to Ankara Province by the tourism guidance students of Yeşilova İsmail Akın Vocational School. Under the coordination of Lect. Özcan ÖZDEMİR and Lect. Faruk GÖKÇE, the students visited “Anıtkabir, Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, 2nd Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Caracalla Baths (Old Roman Baths and Open Air Museum), Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque-Tomb, Temple of Augustus, and Ankara Castle.”
Since the profession of tourist guidance especially requires mastery of the field, it was aimed to enable students to establish dominance in the field, strengthen their practical learning, and gain field experience related to their area by visiting areas that house very valuable cultural inventories like the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.
In this context, during the trip, students added new information to their theoretical education on-site and practically, spent a full day, and concluded the trip without experiencing any negativity.
