Afyon Kocatepe University (AKÜ) Faculty of Tourism hosted a meaningful event as part of its 20th anniversary. On April 28, 2025, at the Reha Kora Conference Hall, the panel titled “Alumni Academicians Panel: Roadmap of an Academic Career” brought together academicians who graduated from the Faculty of Tourism. Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Faruk Gökçe, one of our faculty members, participated as a speaker in the panel.

 

Participants sincerely shared their transition processes into academic life, the challenges they faced, the paths they followed to achieve academic success, and their recommendations for students. The panel was particularly guiding for students aiming for an academic career.

 

At the end of the program, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants, and the event was highly appreciated as a strong example of academic belonging and alumni loyalty.
